"None to Shine"

Life is too short. Cherish it. Only allow people who make you happy to be a part of your life. It doesn't matter about the number of friends you have but instead it's about your few closest friends who will do anything and everything with you and stick by your side when you need them most.


When I was tired I thought
I'd never reach the end of this.
Gave you the dark of my heart
Cuz' I thought you'd cherish it.

But now I know how it seems
to work, knowing you would leave.
But all of the others had watched
As I was left to believe.

The dreams we wish on a star
The angles only sigh.
We all hope to dream, you and I
We're left to our sudden goodbyes.

We lie here thinking of the day
When our world will be well washed away.
And love, here will always have died
The night we confess our foolish pride.

I leave it all behind
Because it's a loss cause.
Would give it all away

"Leave It"

When you think that there is nowhere else to go there is always a place where everyone feels they belong. Whether it's in high school, college, work or wherever. We think "oh, I don't really have anything in common with the kids on campus" or "my colleagues and I have different opinions and it's hard to compromise with them on anything" and it's a struggle. It feels like a constant BATTLE but in the end "everything happens for a reason" and people come into our lives to teach us something new about ourselves. Don't lose hope. Embrace your obstacles because the best way out is THROUGH.....


Leave it all behind
Take what's left
One of a kind.

Can't the truth ever say
how their voices break
My pride each day.

Hard to say, that I
Want to belong.
But I can't explain, how
This place is my song.

Wanted to believe
I'm meant to achieve.
Locked down to
This sullen town.

Be my answer
Bring me grace.
What more should
I have to face?

Lacking what I hope to find

A new year means resolutions, start overs and second chances. It's time to let those 2012 worries down and leave them in the past. Don't let them burden the true potential that you have! Don't let them hold you down any longer....

How is it that today
Was happy but turned 360.
Lay down my head and scream
Why do they make me so uneasy?

Shame we came down hard
And crushed a lively dream.
So now it's hard to say
What it is you made believe.

I'd rather hurt
Than hear them say.
My dreams at loss
and tossed away.

Said I could be everything
But ended in a dare.
Saying things I thought to see, now
This silent deadly stare.

I'd be remembered
I'd tell our truths.
The things that we did
The lies we broke through.

Too much to set loose
As I burn to its touch.
Let me let free
be what I can be.

I'll break away, shaking free
Show I've changed, you see?
Won't ever let these flaws
Be the definition of: Me.

"Seem to Believe"

Couldn't care if he was purple, blue, green or white.
He's my best friend who's darkness showed me light.

I never claim and never worry,
to find the one who'll be the prince in my story.

He's heard my laugh,
He loves my cries.
We sway to the beat
Of my teary replies.

He's the beast of every tale.
Trapped in Grumpy, or dopey's cell.
Down the rabbit hole he'll wait, to
Show this queen a true check mate.

A breath I once could feel
On his white horse to reveal.
Once upon a starry night
I envied the worlds most famous sprite.

I swirl around his raven head
Just like that, his dreams are lead.
Sprinkles of my illustrious dust
Just a little pixie, and a little trust.

If the shoe fits, flaunt it
Like there's no midnight.
Believe there's nothing to achieve
but what this cold world lacks,
is what we dreamers believe

New to You

It's 2013!! And I'm back!! It's been a crazy year so far but as the new year has begun I've realized that I can't give up on my passions. And no one should ever think that their goal is too big. So, happy new year and here is "New to You." Enjoy!

Words that never can see
Things my eyes never could speak.
Pieces bind what's lost at hand
Thought never I'd die twice, amen.

Picture perfect, it's all surreal
He gives me , only what I can deal.
Doubt my life, it's no simple ploy
The cries, I cried, now tears of joy.

Shot down on the floor
You covered me once.
The storm of farewell
Now outbreaks of rejoice.

One shot. One kill
Only to see.
What was left of myself
Now only left to achieve.

Silence takes the thrill
Night takes a stand.
Nothing to sell, but dreams to deal.

A wish from a well
My dream I'd never say.
My hope twice fell
Now at my bottomless tale.

Maybe it's all a fairy tale
Never knowing why
Don't know how the hell, knowing how much I've tried.

What ever can this fantasy
In the end a catastrophe.
One day be sure to say
That I made this dream, on no delay.
