The Race

But dusk wanes and moon falls.
And sun rays of winter crawls.
Never the same, still trance us all.

I could have it all
Take down these walls
What's our story?

Got to claim what's mine
Staying clear, of
doubt and wonder.

What's in store, left undone
Cant fake it just to make it
Can wait no longer.

'Least I past the test
No time to rest
Try my loudest.

Race me to the town
Awaiting sings, soaring towers.
Bending at the seams; broken means
I build it louder!

A world without them seems
What does it mean?
To break my wonderings?

Dying so sweetly
Never tries
To imitate me.

I was in the dark
This tired heart
Thought I could.

Wounds never found
Glowing skies year round
Breaking down but never bound
